Military Information
New Prairie High School has a proud history of supporting our nation’s military and those who fight to defend our freedoms. We recognize the tremendous courage and sacrifice made by all who serve our great nation. With over 409,000 veterans currently living in our great state and with over 11,000 veterans in LaPorte and St. Joseph County alone, the need to show our gratitude and support has never been greater.
Meet our Point of Contact
As New Prairie High School’s Point of Contact, I work with those within our school community who know the value of service to our country. I serve as the liaison for service members, veterans, students, and families here at the high school and I connect our community with resources that can help inform, support, and encourage them wherever they are in their journey. As the grandson of a WWII veteran and the son-in-law of a Vietnam veteran, I’m proud of the values that their service has instilled in me and over the past 5 years I’ve worked to raise thousands of dollars for Folds of Honor, an organization that provides educational assistance to the families of fallen and disabled service members. It is an honor to build upon the already proud history here at NPHS as we recognize the courage and sacrifice of all our nation’s heroes. Please contact me directly via email at caseymartin@npusc.k12.in.us with any questions or to learn more about on campus events with our local recruiters. Thank you.

NPHS Army National Guard Baseball Event
The Indiana Army National Guard works in conjunction with the New Prairie Baseball and Softball Teams to sponsor Hometown Jersey Nights each year. New Prairie teams will wear Army National Guard uniforms as they compete against other NIC teams in league play. New Prairie Little League players in uniform will receive free admission to the New Prairie Varsity & JV games on these nights. Players will also receive a free poster of New Prairie’s student-athletes accomplishments from the 20-21 season (while supplies last). Members of the Indiana Army National Guard bring a MATV military vehicle which will be parked in between the ball fields and allow for great picture opportunities.
