Substitute Teacher Pay

Our daily pay rates for substitutes have increased. We now offer:

• $115 daily pay rate for retired NP teachers
• $100 daily pay rate for subs with a teaching degree
• $90 daily pay rate for subs with 4-year degree
• $75 daily pay rate for subs without a 4-year degree

Bonus System Implementation 

Our subs work hard and we think consistency should be rewarded.  Starting with the 2019-2020 school year, we are pleased to announce a new incentive program allowing substitute teachers to receive bonuses.

• A substitute who works 25-49 full days in a semester will receive a one time bonus of $300
• A substitute who works 50+ full days in a semester will receive a one time bonus of $600

*Licensed teachers who work as substitutes fulfilling a temporary contract/working as a long-term substitute will only have the first fifteen days of that contract/position count towards their bonus total.
